Assurance Health System is Hiring a Maintenance Manager Near Shawnee, KS
- Actively demonstrates the organization's mission and core values, and conducts oneself at all times in a manner consistent with these values
- Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information.
- Responsible for overseeing housekeeping regarding scheduling, training, and updating all housekeepers within the hospital
- Responsible for filling-in as a housekeeper if needed
- As a working manager you will be on call for anything that may come up within the hospital
- Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools and precision-measuring and testing instruments.
- Observes mechanical devices (including pumps, engines, and motors) in operation and listens to sounds when attempting to locate unknown causes of trouble.
- Disassembles equipment to gain access to and isolate defective parts. Repairs or replaces defective items.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Installs special functional and structural parts as necessary. Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Starts device(s) to test equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary.
- Supports HVAC maintaining and repairing all HVAC/refrigeration equipment, related controls, etc.
- May perform maintenance and repair of identified electrical systems and equipment, emergency generating equipment, electrical controls systems, fire alarm systems, construction and lighting, maintenance, repair, installation of plumbing related equipment fixtures.
- Responsible for assuring compliance with governing and regulating agencies relative to areas of responsibility.
- Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.
