Associated Wholesale Grocers is Hiring an Assistant Near Kansas, KS
First shift start at 4am . Responsible for supporting the clerical activities related to receiving of product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives calls from Client and member stores and directs them to the appropriate venue for information and resolution.
- Prepare routing tickets and pick labels for warehouse selection.
- Print pick labels.
- Write "Warehouse Outs" for products not in stock.
- Files and distributes store shuttle mail as necessary.
- Prepare parts of the delivery packet (Delivery tickets, invoices, etc.).
- Other clerical duties as assigned by Warehouse Coordinator.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, training and experience providing the following knowledge, skills and abilities,
EXPERIENCE SKILL LEVEL: Standard English usage. Count and perform basic mathematical calculations, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, read at the ninth grade level and keypunch accurately at the rate of 150 kpm.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Perform bending, squatting, and reaching from floor level to six feet in height in the process of counting inventory. Must be able to sit for a duration of two hours for data entry. Must be able to be stand for 50% of the day. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Indoors and outdoors. Must be able to work in the temperatures ranging from -10 degrees to 100 degrees F and in constant noise. Must be alert to the safety hazards of warehouse traffic.
