Position Overview - Human Resource Generalist:
We are seeking an honest, sincere, and values based team member to serve as the Human Resource Generalist reporting to the Chief People Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process Payroll and support the general human resource functions
- Support recruiting and talent acquisition activities
- Stay current with employment laws, rules, and regulations, and communicate changes to the leadership team.
- Facilitate employee onboarding
- Process background checks
- Maintain employee records and files
- Coordinate benefits open enrollment
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 to 3 years of human resource, recruiting and payroll processing experience
- Familiar with Paylocity
- Ability to process payroll
- Understanding of benefits processes and open enrollment
- General recruiting experience
- Grasp of general employment laws
- Support the mission and vision of Ascent Classical Academies and the ideals of classical, liberal arts education and its value in the development and formation of young people.
- Must have high moral character and embrace the virtues of a free and just society.
