Position Specifics

Classical K-6 grammar school teachers experience the joy of mastering the key elements of their instruction, such as explicit phonics, Singapore math, Core Knowledge history and science, and English grammar with support from peers within the school and other Ascent Classical Academies network of schools. Instruction in lower grammar (K-2) emphasizes the primacy of literacy and number sense. Ascent Classical provides direct instruction in the early grades, empowering teachers to be the authority in the classroom, helping shape the minds, hearts, and bodies of young people.

Minimum Position Requirements

Teaching positions require at least a bachelor's degree. Ascent Classical Academies seeks faculty members with strong content backgrounds and does not require nor prefer a teaching license. Candidates must pass a background check as required by state law.
