Ascendo Resources is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Kearny, NJ
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. As an essential member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for processing and filing vendor invoices, credits, and billbacks into our system. Additionally, you will manage vendor information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in setup and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and file vendor invoices, credits, and billbacks into the system promptly and accurately.
- Manage vendor setup and ensure the accuracy and completeness of vendor information.
- Conduct weekly check runs, prepare check run reports, and generate cash flow reports.
- Handle expense approvals for the sales team and management.
- Reconcile and post credit card statements regularly.
- Process daily ACH and wire payments efficiently.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in accounts payable is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and SAP is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
