About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale application and/or transformational projects through the full project lifecycle and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are addressed and expectations are managed.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are executed to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions and ensure that employees, stakeholders, and the organization as a whole are prepared for and adapt to the changes effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and application development processes.
  • Experience in risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in organizational change management is highly desired.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Location: Fully Onsite in Rancho Cordova, CA

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 – $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
