The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for accounts payable vendor resolution; reviews AP processes, policies and procedures; review internal controls and supports organization initiatives to meet the business and operational goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees the Accounts Payable payment processes and assist in timely issue resolution
• Responsible for continuous assessment and determination of appropriate processes, policies and procedures and recommends changes for improvement
• Assists the Accounts Payable Manager with various projects
• Researches and resolves vendor issues
• Process vendor invoice corrections and posting invoices into the Accounts Payable system
• Assists in team training and project management
• Promotes cross functional collaboration and accountability
• Coordinates audits & ensures Accounts Payable control and compliance to SOX & Accounts Payable Policies & Procedures
• Performs month end close duties relating to Accounts Payable as well as other ad hoc reports
• Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization

Education & Experience:

• Advanced Vendor AP experience for minimum of 12 months
• Proven understanding of entire AP process from purchasing to payment
