- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Veterinary field experience: 1 year (Required)
- Veterinary pharmacy experience: (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Description
A variety of shifts including nights and weekends and holidays are required.
Summary: Your duties will include, but may not be limited to:
Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician include, but are not limited to the following activities:
- Maintaining and supporting a positive client experience.
- Respond to all pharmacy requests accurately in a timely manner.
- Be diligent and accurate with recording all medication requests, fulfillments, internal communication, and client communications across our operating platforms.
- Keep the pharmacy department organized. Be aware of medication inventory and alert inventory employees when medications need to be ordered.
- Consistently remains compliant with all legal and/or company regulations for the industry.
- Report accuracy or mislabeled product issues to leadership.
- Monitor Slack channels and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and support staff regarding medication requests.
- Work well with all team members and ensure that actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy.
- Attend regular department meetings.
- Check ACV email on a regular basis to ensure timely communication with management and staff.
