Armstrong Flooring is Hiring a Regional EH&S Manager Near Lancaster, PA

Location: Our EH&S Manager position is based in our Lancaster Plant 1067 Dillerville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603 and also supports our Beech Creek Plant 325 Eagle Valley Road, Rt 150 Beech Creek, PA 16822 (20% travel)

Hours: Typically, Monday-Friday, 40-hour work week

Status: Salary Non-Exempt

Salary: $90,000-$110,000 based on experience (grade 11/12)

EH&S Manager jobs provide strong leadership skills to manage the EH&S programs

*
Subject matter expert and ensures that all aspects of production operations are compliant with internal and external EH&S requirements

*
Manage the plant's safety and environmental reporting including OSHA, DEQ and EPA reporting, record keeping, and environmental compliance

*
Own EH&S budgets and workers' compensation program

Adapting Together

Develop, implement, and coordinate the safety program for the operation, and monitor work processes and procedures to drive team performance toward departmental and organizational goals

*
Facilitate training for all personnel on safety processes and practices, new initiatives and injury and incident avoidance

  • Champion for changing and fostering a robust safety culture

Reinventing Through Resilience

  • Lead investigations on any environmental non-compliance incidents and provide urgent response to operational issue
  • Manage improvement opportunities and any non-compliance issues from concept through conclusion
  • Conduct hazard assessment, including identification of hazards and corrective action plans

REVEAL EVERYTHING

FOUNDATION:

*
Occupational Safety and Health degree (EH&S degree), Environmental Management degree, or closely related field

*
5 years EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment, including both environmental, safety and workers’ compensation management

*
Solid experience with permit administration and management, including Title V, air permit experience

  • Background and expertise in EH&S recordkeeping, reporting, and training

*
Experience with incident Investigation, including Root Cause Analysis and 5 Why Analysis
