Primary duties:

Conduct their own independent research project, design experiments, and analyze data.

Stay abreast of the scientific literature in their field, to inform research project direction.

Prepare and participate in activities that communicate research findings including presentations at conferences, as well as writing articles for peer-reviewed journals.

Maintain an accurate electronic lab notebook, and ensure suitable storage of all critical experimental lab data.

Mentor and support student lab members

Highly self-motivated, intellectual curiosity, strong senseof initiative, a good work ethic, creative thinking, problem solving skills andthe ability to work independently (following suitable training) are highlydesired.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work wellwith others in a collaborative and creative work environment.
