*InTulsa is partnering with Tulsa Global Alliance to find candidates for this exciting role in Tulsa*
**Location: Tulsa, OK. This is a hybrid position for those already in Tulsa, OK or willing to relocate to Tulsa, OK**


We are seeking a strategic thinker who will provide the energy and leadership necessary to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth and impact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for international learning and global education, a desire to share this passion with others, and the capacity to work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders to promote understanding and bridge cultural divides.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with the Board to develop and execute TGA’s Strategic Plan.
  • Provide visionary leadership to increase TGA membership, including individual and corporate memberships.
  • Work closely with the board of directors, facilitating communication, and enhancing board engagement. Assist in the recruitment and orientation of new board members, organize board meetings and create board agendas and reports.
Fundraising and Donor Relations:
  • Lead the organization’s efforts in fundraising, planned giving, grants, and nurturing donor relations to secure financial support for TGA’s initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the development team on TGA’s two primary fundraisers: Global Vision Gala and Savor.
Program and Event Coordination:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of TGA programs and events, World in a Box Day, U.S. State Department International Visitor Programs, Sister Cities activities, and business seminars. Community and Civic Engagement:
  • Serve as a liaison with key local and state government offices, community organizations, and the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce to further TGA’s mission and visibility.
  • Increase the TGA volunteer base and oversee the activities of staff and volunteer committees.
  • Oversee all media relationships and develop publicity strategies to enhance TGA’s public image and outreach.
Financial and Operational Management:
  • Develop the annual budget in cooperation with the chairman and treasurer.
  • Manage day-to-day financial affairs, including record keeping, tax reporting, audits, and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to personnel hiring and management.
  • Implement systems for evaluating program effectiveness and organizational impact. Use data and feedback to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a non-profit or related sector.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, organizational development, fundraising and grant writing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial management, including budget development and oversight.
  • Knowledge of the Tulsa community, as well as state and local government operations.
  • Commitment to the principles of citizen diplomacy and global engagement.
  • Possess international experience and an appreciation for other cultures required.
  • Fluency in a second language preferred.
  •  Experience with managing large events.

What we offer:
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
