Primary Objective of Position:

This position is responsible for preventive, planned and emergency repairs/maintenance of equipment, grounds and facilities.

Major Areas of Performance

• Ensure all company equipment/assets are
• Provide preventive maintenance and emergency repairs of all production and warehouse
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment in need of repair –making good decisions on the direction to proceed.
• Assist supervisor with critical systems including, fire, security, power, heating, cooling,
• Determine when outside services are required and communicate effectively with vendor
• Assist with facility access, reporting, and security
• General maintenance of the exterior property including parking lot/sidewalks (snow removal as needed), landscaped areas, and docks.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings and facility safety programs to ensure and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist supervisor with the assembly of equipment for warehouse or production
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and

Qualifications (Experience, Education, Knowledge, Skills) Required:

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/building equipment maintenance experience
• Excellent math, reading, and communications
• Ability to pay attention to detail, set priorities, and demonstrate good decision-making
• Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and work with little or no
• Ability to operate general maintenance equipment, forklifts, floor scrubber, and scissor lift or the ability to become certified within 90 days.

• Knowledge of equipment safety procedures, such as lock-out/tag-out, or hot work permit process
• Experience with troubleshooting AC and DC voltages to include 110V, 220V, and 480V AC.
• Knowledge and/or experience with manufacturing and installing small machine parts that are used on printing presses and other manufacturing type equipment.
• PC skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn service ticket and security
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift
• Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, twisting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time
• Must have general dexterity for firm and simple grasping of Some tasks, such as the use of small repair tools, may also require fine dexterity skills.
