Archon Protection is looking to immediately hire a full-time Security Rover.

*Weekend Availability Required*

*A guard card and valid driving license / good driving record is required for this position*

Schedule is noted below:

Sat / Sun 9AM to 6PM vehicle patrol

Mon/Tuesday OFF

Wed-Fri 10AM to 7PM Access Control Shifts

On-site training will be provided by a Security Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• · Communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and by email, in a professional manner.
• · Apply effective time management skills to cover posts for call-offs or last-minute schedule changes/special events.
• · Effectively respond to and address inquiries.
• · Meet with guards to sign paperwork as needed.
• · Assess situations and bring these up to supervisor/management staff.
• · Knowledgeable in security practices to solve problems.
• · As needed, patrol randomly or regularly the perimeters area of clients.
• · Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• · Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining safe and secure environments.
• Condcut vehicle patrols of assigned clients.
• Conductt foot patrol and respond to calls for services when needed.

Requirements

• Great interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with business customers, visitors, or other employees.
• Valid Driver’s License – Good driving record required.
• Ability to type at least 35 Words Per Minute. One-minute typing test administered during the interview process.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• High school degree

Pay: $18.00 - $18.75 per hour
