The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a senior level System Frameworks Software Engineer to help us push the limits of the next generation of interactive experiences on our platform. This team is working with some of Apples most advanced technologies including spatial computing, augmented reality (AR), ARKit and Metal 2, to create ground-breaking new products. **Description**

Apple makes innovative technologies accessible for the creation of amazing user experiences. In close collaboration with other teams across Apple and VPG, you will have the opportunity to work on a team reimagining input experiences on the visionOS platform, enabling users to interact with applications and the system in a variety of new and profoundly exciting ways. We are looking for a software engineer who is deeply passionate about addressing input challenges on the Vision Pro platform. Leveraging leading-edge technologies such as generative AI, your work will define the future of Apples newest and most exciting platform. Your work will be highly cross-functional, providing exposure to all facets of Apples engineering resources. **Minimum Qualifications**

**Key Qualifications**

Passion for building, developing, and shipping software

Deep practical skills and knowledge of protocol- and/or object-oriented programming

Keen ability to translate technical capabilities, questions, and constraints into prototypes

**Preferred Qualifications**

**Education & Experience**

BS / MS in Computer Science OR equivalent degree and at least 3 years of experience

**Additional Requirements**

- Experience programming with Swift and/or Objective-C is preferred

- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) OR a background in AI/ML is preferred

- Experience working on developer-facing frameworks OR experience working with Apple frameworks in customer-facing visionOS, iOS, and/or macOS applications is preferred

- Attention to detail, creativity, passion, and superior communication and collaboration skills

- Knowledge of 3D graphics and/or game engines is NOT required for this role

**Pay & Benefits**

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs.
