Senior Software Engineer, AI/ML

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $176,800 - $197,600 per year

Location: Cupertino, CA - Hybrid Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write from scratch and maintain scripts to ingest various metadata on various storage platforms
• Integrate scrips within pipelines to create fully automated solutions.
• Create end-to-end regression suites for APIs

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong Python skills
• Familiar with data platforms, ETL pipelines, data analytics
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-driven
• Excellent knowledge of test case creation and implementation.
• Excellent expertise in object-oriented programming in Java
• Experience in distributed systems like Spark and Kafka.
• Experience in Data Catalog tools like DataHub.
• Experience with AWS Cloud ( S3, RDS, IAM, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong experience with deployment tools like Terraform
• Understanding of version control like Git and CI/CD workflow.
• Knowledge of file formats like Parquet and Avro
• Excellent at debugging and troubleshooting
• Good communication and excellent collaboration skills to interact with internal customers to collect requirements
• Ask the right questions to define the project scope and requirements.
• Google Cloud Storage (GCS) experience is preferred.
