Hybrid/New York, NY Pay Range: $150,000 - $190,000 The Business Objects Developer is responsible for providing domain expertise to the design element of Apple Bank’s Enterprise Data Management/Business Intelligence Team by converting core banking data (FIS IBS/BIC core) into operational reporting that influences sound business decisions making. This involves collaborating with multiple parties, including team members, business unit leaders, user acceptance testers, project managers, and external vendors. Leverage industry experience to ask questions, probe, and offer advice to report requesters. Engage in mutual peer review, demonstrating responsibility for quality assurance. Participate in full agile development cycle through unit testing, UAT, release into production, and follow-up for enhancement. Contribute to well-planned sprints with full transparency to the business. Build up institutional knowledge on FIS Global’s BIC universes. Perform other duties as required. SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree required. 6 years of high-performing experience in a reporting/analytic role, with special focus on operational reporting development. 3 years of experience utilizing SAP Business Objects (Web Intelligence), as well as FIS Business Intelligence Center (BIC) universes. Proficient in SQL queries. Competence with Power BI is preferable. Business analysis experience is preferable. Retail banking experience, and strong domain knowledge. Work well both independently and in an energetic team environment. Attention to detail – highly organized with excellent follow-through and delivery. Strong communication skills (verbal written) and excellent interpersonal skills. Visa sponsorship not available.
