Position Overview: The Sales Associate is both a customer-facing and internal support role that assists in all aspects of Specialty Wholesale Partnership, Sales Performance, Order Maintenance, and Inventory Management for multiple accounts. The ideal candidate will seamlessly engage cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Design, Distribution, and Marketing. This position will report to the Director of Sales.
Candidate:
· A solutions-oriented self-starter who possesses excellent prioritization and project management skills with a strong sense of organization.
· A forward-thinking team player who can work independently with the ability to troubleshoot within a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities:
Overview: Support Sales Team on projects related to market preparation, showroom maintenance, sample organization, in-season opportunities, and day-to-day management of accounts.
· Lead processes of Order Entry, Shipment Tracking, Payment Inquiries, and Sample Shipments for the Specialty Sales Team. This role will also need to become proficient in various customer-specific platforms.
· Execute individual product set up with style information and costing for line sheet creation on JOOR. This will occur across all size zones for each delivery and as needed. Maintenance of accurate data and product/model will also be required.
· Develop understanding of Weekly Inventory Recaps and Analysis with Images, Sizing and Cost information for Reorder Opportunities.
· Handle Daily FedEx Shipments—both Inbound and Outbound. Receive shipment, unpack, steam, and deliver to recipient. Communication with COI on shipments will also be necessary.
· Collaborate with Specialty Sales Team to streamline all aspects of Market: Preline, Appointment Coordination & Support, Catering Needs, and Showroom Clean Up.
· Own sample line management from market to production. Including receiving and organizing showroom samples, maintain closet organization, ordering and checking production samples and servicing accounts with Ad Sample requests.
· Manage Market Calendar; ensure it’s comprehensive, prevent overlaps, and distribute to Team once complete.
· Maintain Showroom, Kitchen, and Shipping Area by keeping inventory of supplies and ensuring areas are organized and well-stocked. Supplies & Trunks in “Ready Condition” for Sales Travel.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or relevant Wholesale Fashion experience
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to identify and resolve issues independently and proactively
· Excellent time management, research, communication & presentation skills
· Proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
· Knowledge of JOOR, NuOrder, and WebAX a plus
· Positive attitude with an ardent desire to learn and contribute
