We are looking for a high-powered Accountant who will be a critical team member in our journey. He / she will help drive the ethos for how the financial and accounting operations and organization runs.

This person must have superior organization and communication skills, while maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for various daily accounting transactions related to the regional accounting functions, such as accounts receivables, bank and card reconciliations, and month end close. This individual will participate heavily in the robust month-end close process for the region, working closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller to ensure financial reporting integrity. The Accountant will also be highly involved in the year-end audit process by providing support as requested. This opportunity offers high visibility in a rapidly growing company and the successful candidate must show great initiative including the ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Regional Accounting Managers and Controller the Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate and auditable financial statements. Job responsibilities include:

• Review cash posting activity weekly – working with operations and accountants as needed to ensure transactions are coded correctly
• Ensuring Service Titan revenue and receivable financial and accounting transactions run smoothly
• Reviewing positive pay and ACH reports on a daily basis
• Reconcile Bank Accounts, Accounts Receivables, and Corporate Cards
• Produce high quality and error-free accounting reports
• Analyze financial information, spot and adjust errors, and suggest ways to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Monitor customer accounts receivable balances and collection efforts
• Prepare and post monthly entries as part of month end close.
• Assist with providing external auditors all requested materials, in conjunction with the Accounting Manager and Controller
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and implement streamlined procedures where possible
• Execute the individual and team goals that support strategic and operational initiatives
• Prepare, review, and post month end entries
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
• Liaise with Controller and Accounting Manager to improve procedures
• Ad hoc projects as needed

Experience

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Reconciliations
• 1-3 years of prior accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Ability to communicate accounting and financial information into common language
• Excel skills
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Service Titan a plus
• Formatting, organization and priority setting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
