Join our dynamic Construction Team as an Accountant and be a vital force in bringing our real estate development projects to life! Under the guidance of our Senior Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in every phase of our projects, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities will include:

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Streamlining subcontractor setup and requirements, from insurance to bonding

- Crafting monthly pay applications for the Owner

- Orchestrating timely pay application receipt with subcontractors and suppliers

- Tracking subcontractor payments, lien waivers, and account balances

- Handling vendor invoices and issuing checks, including joint checks

- Assisting with various administrative and clerical tasks

- Proactively communicating with subcontractors for prequalification documents

- Providing regular updates to our Construction team

**Qualifications:**

- 5-7 years of construction accounting experience, with expertise in preliminary notices, liens, and joint checks

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) with a typing speed of 50 WPM

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy

- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project staff and across the organization

- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Project Sight, and QuickBooks; knowledge of Procore, and NetSuite is a plus

**Physical Requirements:**

- Comfortable with prolonged periods of desk work and computer usage

- Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds when needed

**Compensation:**

- Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience
