Experienced Facility Manager

Do you possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining impeccable facilities? Apex Entertainment is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring exceptional service to our guests. As the Facility Maintenance Manager, you will lead the charge in maintaining our buildings, grounds, and amusement attractions, presenting a consistently like-new appearance, and ensuring efficient and safe operations in compliance with industry practices and regulations.


Responsibilities:


  • Corrective and Preventative Maintenance:
  • Perform corrective maintenance to minimize operational equipment and facility downtime, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
  • Follow scheduled preventative maintenance programs to preserve the like-new appearance of our facilities and environment.
  • Team Management and Training:
  • Provide guidance, training, and scheduling for maintenance personnel and technicians, ensuring a skilled and efficient workforce.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and discipline while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management and Budget Control:
  • Oversee the purchase, maintenance, and condition of parts inventory and maintenance equipment, optimizing resource utilization.
  • Exercise budgeting and cost control measures to efficiently manage the operations of the Maintenance Department.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and government requirements, including the proper inspection and documentation of attractions.
  • Hold all necessary state certifications and licenses, prioritizing safety in all maintenance activities.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, synthesizing complex information and providing clear and concise instructions.
  • Collaborate with various departments, participating in group problem-solving situations and contributing to a positive team spirit.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and complete administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to the smooth flow of operations by coordinating with department managers and attending regular meetings.


Requirements:

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying information to team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, organizational prowess, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet guest needs promptly.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and people management skills, guiding and training employees to achieve operational objectives.
  • Employ effective problem-solving skills to adapt to changes and handle unforeseen circumstances.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, representing Apex Entertainment positively to employees, guests, and vendors.
  • Foster a positive team environment, inspiring and motivating colleagues to achieve success.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Uphold exceptional personal hygiene and serve as a positive representation of the organization.
  • Have 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in facilities maintenance, with amusement industry maintenance experience considered a plus.
  • Exhibit proven maintenance supervisory and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with team members.
  • Hold a valid driver's license or have reliable transportation.
  • Display flexibility and adaptability to embrace change in a dynamic work environment.
  • Successfully pass a CORI check (Criminal Offender Record Information).
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
