Position Overview:

We have a full-time School Social Worker opening with one of our superb partner schools in Chicago! This position will focus on supporting a K-8^th grade population between two schools within this District. In this role, the Social Worker will provide a mixture of Push-In/Pull-Out services to students in groups and will be responsible for managing a 30-35 student caseload.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to work full time, Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM-3:30 PM.
• Support a K-8^th grade student population between two schools.
• Manage a 30-35 student caseload.
• Deliver a mixture of Push-In/Pull-Out services.
• Provide counseling to MTSS students.
• Advocate for the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students.
• Provide counseling to MTSS students.
• Collaborate with other staff, families, and community resources.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student safety and success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
• LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois
• Eligible Professional Educators License (PEL)
• Preferred experience in a K-8^th Grade setting
