Work Services Manager - Supported Employment Services: In summary, the Work Services Manager is responsible to provide knowledgeable, competent and professional technical assistance and support to the Director, other Supported Employment staff members and adult program participants with disabilities in the administration of his/her responsibilities, maintaining high policy standards of performance, service, communications, ethics and confidentiality. Listed below is a partial list of essential duties and responsibilities. This list is not all inclusive.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED), AA desired; two years related experience and/or training, plus (1) year supervisory experience OR equivalency. Sufficient experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to carry out duties required in above description; must possess valid California driver's license and have three (3) years driving experience, a good driving record, access to dependable transportation; must present and maintain proof of current automobile insurance and registration.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all subordinate staff including Case Managers, Senior Job Coaches and all job coaches currently employed and will supervise all future Job Coaches. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws in conjunction with the Director of Employment Programs; responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems. May be assigned supervision of clerical program participant workers, interns and/or volunteers.
