As an industry leader in premium quality OTT and Media servicing, EIKON requires a Director of Resource Planning for QC Services. This role will oversee and ensure content is delivered to the highest standards within very exacting SLA driven timeframes in the most efficient and effective way, optimizing resource and driving performance output.

The primary responsibilities are to oversee the scheduling, planning and management of schedules and resource of the rapidly growing QC operations within EIKON. This includes a focus on managing an increasing volume of work across two locations, optimizing operators and infrastructure whilst maintaining the highest quality.

The role will require advanced knowledge (and experience) of prioritizing demanding production schedules across EIKON operator and infrastructure resources.

High standard communication skills are an absolute necessity as this role will be pivotal in managing and communicating across locations and departments, including operations and account management.

Trak is the sophisticated and dynamic EIKON proprietary project management and scheduling system. This will be the primary scheduling tool to manage workflows and resource across the business.

The ability to manage, report and operate at a high level within a senior environment is pivotal.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule all operational resource (technicians and media suites) in the Master QC department across all QC Services.
• Manage and communicate volumes, deadlines and capacity across the operational and account management departments.
• Ensure high quality, high volume assets are delivered on time.

• Schedule (and manage daily/weekly) work orders to deliver QC tasks as per client SLA requirements and deadlines.

• Oversee and manage correct information and “ready to go” assets into the operational infrastructure - maximizing and optimizing operator time.

• Manage, prioritize, forecast and oversee the daily, weekly and forward looking schedules of operational queues/boards within Trak, EIKON’s project management system.

• Be responsible for delivering targeted performance metrics and reporting – weekly reports delivered to senior management on utilization of infrastructure, resources, and staff.

• Liaise with the Client Services team to ensure production forecasts / schedules are met.

• Liaise with operational departments to ensure work is load balanced between facilities and Master QC teams.

Skills and Attributes

• Experience in the film, OTT or television broadcast industry associated with operational resource management.
• Good technical and workflow knowledge in a datacentric media services environment.
• Respective level of experience of working within a scheduling department and/or resource management environment.
• Experience in planning, managing, and delivering media services in deadline driven environments under strict SLA’s
• Good knowledge of scheduling platforms / systems and the ability to define best practices and workflows to manage multiple QC service lines through an operation
• Desire to take ownership and be responsible for the Master QC throughput and provide reporting and KPI’s to define improvements and efficiencies.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail and ability to multi-task, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and sensitive information
• Strong IT literacy
