Anoplate is seeking a Tank Maintenance Technician to add to our team

Position Summery:

To ensure finishing processes are within operating parameters and takes appropriate action necessary to maintain control of the process, extend bath life, and optimize performance. Works with suppliers and co-workers in addressing processing issues, as well as identify process improvements. Engages operations, EO and maintenance personnel in working together to maintain and continuously improve the performance of Anoplate solutions and the finishing products.

Shift: 9:15pm-5:45am Sun-Thurs 

 In This Role You Will: 

•  Perform daily task list using schedule within preventive maintenance database
• Change solution filters at scheduled frequencies 
• Dispose of filters in accordance with Anoplate’s established procedures
• Monitor filter usage, adjusting frequency when necessary to minimize waste
• Maintenance of circulation pumps at scheduled frequencies, including but not limited to:
• Keep housing clean and free of debris
• Fan blades cleared
• Missing hardware replaced
• Damaged housings or fan blades replaced as necessary
• Maintenance requests submitted for pumps requiring more work than basic hand tools can accomplish tank side.
• Change rectifier filters at scheduled frequencies
• Dispose of filters in accordance with Anoplate’s established procedure
• Monitor filter usage, adjusting change frequency when necessary to minimize waste
• Clean exteriors of rectifiers at scheduled frequency
• Refill anode material for electroplating tanks. Anodes are to be checked and filled if at scheduled frequencies.
• Electrical connections at the tank disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled at scheduled frequencies.
• Utilizes instructions in various forms (PM database, TrueChem, Work Instructions)
• Performs purification, freeze out, batch filtrations, etc. (treatments) on the solutions as scheduled by the lab.
• Performs physical inventory as scheduled.
• Maintain Tank Maintenance Carts: keep organized and clean, keep fully stocked by submitting purchase requisitions to supervisor to renew stock of consumables.
• The Tank Maintenance Technician may be combined with other positions, based on business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to multi-task in a highly technical environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, management team members, and other individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet daily priorities.
• Excellent record keeping skills.
• Self -motivated with a positive and professional attitude.

Your Education / Experience:

High school or GED required, manufacturing experience desired.
