About the role
The Associate Manager, Creative Services for Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Factory will utilize their Graphic Design skills to design compelling in-store and window presentations that tell our brand story. You will collaborate closely with Visual Merchandisers and Art Directors to conceptualize and execute creative projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that resonate with our customer.
The impact you can have
- Assist in creating and translating seasonal creative concepts through compelling windows and 2D & 3D in-store marketing displays, ensuring creative is executable across all store types.
- Produce conceptual drawings and mood boards for creative discussion, map creative in store drawings and produce specs and mechanicals for props and print collateral.
- Able to read plans and elevations and understand scale and measurements.
- Able to prioritize, organize, multi-task, be flexible and develop creative solutions within extreme time constraints.
- Physically install seasonal and special creative sets at HQ and at stores; candidate will need to be available in NYC for this reason.
- Photograph and create all seasonal window and in-store creative installation directives for stores that are easy to execute.
- Ability to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships across the organization in order to design and develop visual content for windows and in-store experience to deliver desired storytelling.
- Organize and maintain all creative prop and display areas.
- Special projects and enhanced responsibility in response to change agility.
- Influencer in creative brainstorming and creative development processes with marketing and visual teams.
- Consistently conceptualize new and creative in-store and window ideas that drive out of the box thinking.
You’ll bring to the role
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Art (or related field) and 2-4 years experience in graphic design, 3D art/design, visual art/photography or visual display work in a retail environment
- Knowledge of the retail industry and competitors
- Adobe Suite proficiency required
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp or a 3D design software package
- Able to lift up to 30lbs and work on ladders with tools (or be willing to learn)
- Comfortable working both in a digital and physical space as workload requires

- The target salary range for this role is: $65- $75K*

This position works in a hybrid model, with three days per week worked in the New York, NY location and two days per week worked remotely.
