Finance Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information.
Duties:
- Departmental Budget Monitoring, Variance Reporting, Forecasting
o Resource to provide analysis support to CLIENT with working knowledge of the transit budget components experience. Also, experience in forecasting methodologies.
o* *Resources should have working knowledge and experience with Hyperion or like budgeting tools
Budget Monitoring
o Experience with understanding seasonality effects, unexplained exponential volatility, trend analysis, economic indicators and any other causes of anomalies and its resulting impacts on CLIENT. Able to work with several department simultaneously to get results. Must understand Capital Allocation process for either preventive and/or corrective maintenance.
Variance Reporting
o Resource will provide deep understanding of CLIENT direct, indirect, interpretation of allowable cost and its impact on business operations. They should understand components of transit expense line items and its relative and its relationship to federal drawdowns for government relief. Be able to succinctly document calculation process and deconstruct financials.
Forecasting
o Resource will provide and understanding current forecasting trends relevant to forecasting methods at CLIENT. Resource will use expertise in current market-based forecasting models and methodologies to help inform current CLIENT practices. i.e. Straight-Line, Moving Averages, Simple linear and Multiple Linear.
Experience-
Has an undergraduate or graduate degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience at a Manager level related to engagements for the public and/or private sector, Federal, State or Local governments or in another specialized area as defined by a task order.
