Position Overview:

As a Business Development Representative at Amistee, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities, fostering relationships with both existing and potential clients, and contributing to the overall success of the company. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving sales, expanding our customer base in the Mid-Michigan area, and representing our core values.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue a broad range of business development and growth opportunities to drive new sales and strategic projects in Mid-Michigan.
  • Cultivate relationships with current clients to discuss business products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Increase relevance to prospective customers through targeted outreach and engagement efforts.
  • Assist in identifying, acquiring, and nurturing new customers through various stages of the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with new and existing partners, including participation in organized events and outings.
  • Actively participate in trade show events and industry organizations relevant to Amistee’s services.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production and sales teams, to ensure seamless project management and client satisfaction.
  • Provide estimates for Amistee’s services as needed, demonstrating a strong understanding of our offerings.
  • Uphold and embody Amistee’s Core Values: attitude, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a creative mindset and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the customer service lifecycle and best practices.
  • Ability to represent Amistee professionally and build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
