American Tactical is Hiring a CNC Machine Operator (D Shift 6:00pm-6:30am) Near Summerville, SC
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and instruments.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure product specifications are met
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications
- Maintain equipment in good condition
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and precision measuring instruments
- Experience with tools such as calipers, lathes, CAD software, and GD&T principles
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with press brake machines for bending metal
- Knowledge of welding, fabricating, and packaging processes
