American Sleep Medicine is currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator. This is a part time position Tuesday thru Thursday 8:30am - 5pm. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills as you will be scheduling and working directly with patients both in person and over the phone. Dependability is a must.

This is a fast-paced role that calls for the ability to multi-task, think on your feet and work independently. The ideal candidate will be patient focused, positive attitude, eager and driven to succeed. This role is critical to the entire patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a professional manner both in person and on the phone
• Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
• Gathers all necessary demographic, clinical and financial information for accurate and complete creation of profile
• Make outgoing calls to schedule patients and notifies referring physician of scheduled appointment.
• Assists with general medical office duties
• Intermediate computer skills are a must
• Willing to roll up sleeves to get work done
• Superior communication, problem-solving and follow-up skills
• Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
• Self motivated with a positive and professional approach
• Organized and detail oriented

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Tuesday thru Thursday
• 8:30am - 5:00pm

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience performing similar duties
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Must be excited to work in a fast paced upbeat work environment
