Human Resource Generalist (HR Generalist)
West Palm Beach, Florida

ARC Group is currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist (HR Generalist) to join our client's team in West Palm Beach, Florida. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's HR initiatives and contributing to their overall success.

This role initially starts as a contract position, with the potential for transition into a full-time role for the right candidate. We are looking for an individual who is ready to jump in and make an immediate impact. This position is onsite, offering you the opportunity to collaborate closely with your colleagues and become an integral part of the team.

Job Description
As an HR Generalist, you will be at the core of our team, providing dedicated support to employees as they navigate benefit inquiries and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions. We are seeking someone with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a good understanding of HR Policy and how to implement change, and a genuine enthusiasm for thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment..
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist employees with benefit inquiries and offer guidance on available options.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to review applications, assess candidates, and facilitate the hiring process.
  • Work with the HR Team to develop and implement policies.
  • Conduct research on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Prepare and deliver HR-related presentations in board meetings using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Manage Excel spreadsheets for various HR functions, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Perform data entry tasks in HR management systems, particularly ADP.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in HR policies, labor laws, FMLA, COBRA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Represent the HR function professionally and effectively in a multi-state employment setting.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience preferred. A Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience in managing employee benefits and involvement in recruitment activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and HR management systems, particularly ADP.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new responsibilities and shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with HR policies, labor laws, FMLA, COBRA, and other relevant regulations.
