Job Description
The Amcor Integrated Sales Manager is responsible for embracing and improving the processes and procedures for the Sales Development program within the Inside Sales team. This role is accountable for ensuring the team has effective customer relationships, develops opportunities for new customer growth as well as growth within their current customer base, while achieving sales and profit forecasts. This role is accountable to coach and develop the program account manager associates who are training and onboarding in a one-to-two-year program in an ever-changing environment. This is an advanced level requiring independent management with additional accountability to sales and marketing directors. This role has a team of direct reports. This role reports to the Integrated Sales Manager Senior.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Lead the Integrated Sales Associate Launch Program: The program is designed to fully train and onboard new sales hires (0-3 years’ experience) in preparation for an account manager role in regional sales.
- Grow and develop a team of associates to become our next leading regional account managers
- Manage and lead sales strategies for the team
- Ensure proper training based on candidate profile
- Create new onboarding/trainings as needed and ensure all trainings/tours/job shadows are completed
- Create opportunities as they arise for experience with trials, tours, customer visits
Coach and develop trainees
- Help trainees develop internal relationships that will support matrix navigation
- Frequent and Consistent One on One Meetings to provide actionable support and feedback
- Develop/support opportunities for trainee to develop and grow presentation skills
- Support trainee on systems and tool utilization best practices
- Assist with customer visits, trials, etc. to provide real time support and feedback
Partner with Sales Directors
- Meet regularly with regional sales directors to understand and fill talent pipeline needs
- Provide quarterly reports to sales directors on trainee progress
- Learn the needs of the specific regions to help ensure talent development will meet the needs of the sales field placement for the associate
Sales Growth
- Meet sales plan and manage accurate rolling forecast & aged inventory
- Show initiative to develop programs to drive profitable growth to meet sales goals of the team
- Challenge team with sales growth opportunities
- growing existing accounts to take to field sales
- Onboarding new accounts
- Ensure individual trainee goals and sales goals are met through monitoring, coaching, and training as needed
- Maintain accurate reporting of goals and sales progress
Leads Management
- Oversee metrics and KPI’s for all inbound and outbound leads utilizing Salesforce
- Set Lead management growth expectations and visibility
- Oversee assignment of tradeshow leads
- Report out progress of all leads (inbound, outbound, & tradeshow) to leadership
Campus Recruiting
- Partner with recruiting team in HR to recruit trainees via Campus Recruiting/LinkedIn/Job Fairs
- Develop the Amcor Brand in the campuses we want to recruit from
- Lead, manage, and be point of contact for corporate partnerships at universities
Travel
- Minimum of 1 customer visit with each associate
- Trade shows as applicable
- Sales Meetings as applicable
- University partnership events

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree required
- A minimum of 5 years or more of successful sales or related experience
- Demonstrate good business acumen and a professional presentation
- Demonstrate ability to lead, onboard, and coach a developing team
- Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred
- Travel Requirement – 30%
