Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Jewelry Associate to join our team. As a Jewelry Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their jewelry/piercing needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and showcase your knowledge of jewelry sales and customer relations as well as working well with a team.
Duties:
- Doing Set Ups for Piercings/ Jewlery Changes
- Greet customers and assist them in curating their ears/piercing(s)
- Provide product information, answer questions, and make recommendations based on customer preferences
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and operating the point-of-sale system (LightSpeed)
- Maintain a clean and organized jewelry display area, including dividing cleaning chores
- Assist with Loading tools up, packing them, and putting them away
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and meet customer satisfaction goals
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in the jewelry industry to better assist customers
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (multilingual skills, especially Spanish, are a plus)
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry or wireless sales
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean work environment
- Knowledge of different types of jewelry and gemstones is desirable but not required
