Description
This Front and Back Office Medical Assistant will be responsible for both front and back-office duties. The duties will include but are not limited to scheduling, insurance verifications, authorizations, taking vitals, medication reviews, injections, and other duties as assigned.
In this position, you will partner with other high-caliber medical professionals in the delivery of extraordinary patient care.
Requirements
One (1) year medical office and clinical experience in a Physician practice preferred
Experience and / or knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations required
Experience in processing authorizations and verifications for payors such as; Medicare, Medi-Medi, Commerical and and Managed Care highly desired
EMR system experience required, EPIC systems experience preferred
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Certificate from Accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
