AlumierMD is seeking a full-time detail-oriented Accounting Clerk, who possesses good written and verbal communication skills to join our Accounting Team!
Pay rate: starting at $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Process payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Ensure bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Reconcile company credit cards and expense reports Communicate with employees to assist as needed
Ability to create and maintain general excel reports Participate in day-to-day accounting and operational functions
Communicate with Vendors to resolve invoice payment issues
Create new Vendor accounts in software & obtain W9s
Assist management with any assignments on an as needed basis Other general office duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
2-3 years general accounting experience Must be intermediate at Microsoft Excel
Ability to work well in a team
Hard working, efficient, and great attention to detail
Highly-organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize and plan efficiently
Analytical skills in basic accounts payable and working knowledge of accounting
Ability to multitask
Knowledge of Great Plains a plus
