```Overview```
We are seeking an experienced Estimator & Project Manager to join our team!!

As the Estimator and Project Manager, you will be responsible for contacting generated leads, maintain time management, create your own schedule, conduct each estimate, build project proposals, and endure the estimating process and ensuring accurate and competitive bids for painting projects. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with crew workers, generated leads, & customers.

```Responsibilities```

- Receive and connect with generated leads to schedule estimates.

-Follow up with estimates to close new business.
- Lead and manage a team of contractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of bids and projects.

- communicate with customer throughout process of project completion.
- Conduct quality take-offs and prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Collaborate with realtors, contractors, investors, small business groups, and other resources to develop relationships that lead to bid proposals
- Utilize industry-standard software such as Excel, Google Sheets, & Estimate Rocket to produce and maintain leads.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitiveness in bidding process
- Negotiate with customers and subcontractors to obtain favorable pricing and terms
- Provide guidance on cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in training, estimate reviews, color consulting, and site visits as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of bid activities, including correspondence, documents, and pricing information

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in painting, retail, customer service, sales, or contractor related fields.
- Strong knowledge of contractor estimating principles and practices
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Joist, or other estimating services.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret project plans and specifications

- Ability to identify repairs and other issues on project sites.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others.
- Ability to negotiate pricing with customers and crew workers.
- Familiarity and resourcefulness to discover cost control measures in construction projects
