Be a part of the future of autonomous robots! In this Business Development Representative role at Altitude AI, you'll be a key member of our sales efforts, driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients. Join our team of expert business professionals and roboticists with backgrounds from Waymo, Google, Princeton, Harvard, BYU, and top robotics startups.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop a pipeline of qualified leads through strategic outreach, cold calls, emails, networking events, and other lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the food processing industry through persistent follow-up and exceptional customer service.
  • Understand client needs and requirements, effectively positioning Altitude AI's autonomous robot solutions as the best fit.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to develop strategies for penetrating new markets and verticals.
  • Track all sales activity and opportunities using our CRM system, providing detailed forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and Altitude AI's product roadmap.
  • Some travel may be required for on-site client meetings, industry events, and conferences (20-30%).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in business, sales, marketing, or a technical field.
  • 1-2 years of successful business development, inside sales, or account management experience (startup experience preferred). Internships and entrepreneurial sales efforts can count as well.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and drive to exceed targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly learn to use new software (e.g., CRMs).
  • Experience in food processing, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus but not required.
