Job Summary
We are looking for in-house lawyer to spearhead the development and implementation of the company’s Contract Management program. This position will report to the General Counsel.

 Essential Job Functions:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including customer, vendor, and other third-party contracts.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships and facilitate decision-making among the Legal Department and other internal business teams, including sales, marketing, operations and fleet, accounting, project management, human resources, risk, and information technology.
  • Developing and maintaining standard contract templates and compliance policies and driving efficiencies in the contracting process.
  • Developing and overseeing the day-to-day operations and administration of the company’s contracting process and contract management system.
  • Prepare, review, and revise non-disclosure and other agreements based on existing forms and templates.
  • Other duties as assigned
 Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with legal processes and procedures.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate as a member of a team and interface and work effectively with other departments within the company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, research, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to translate and communicate legal rules and concepts into practical business advice
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Professional or similar program.
  • Familiarity with RMIS is a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school
  • Licensed member of a state bar
  • Meets state requirements for continuing legal education
  • 4-10 years of experience practicing law in a recognized law firm and/or in-house position
  • Fluency with respect to commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, acquisition agreements, finance agreements, and other transactional documents
  • Knowledge of human resources, anti-corruption, anti-trust, privacy, and other compliance matters
Working Environment:
  • Typical indoor office environment, working space, meeting rooms, lunch room
  • Physical demands for the shift consist of standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, typing, hearing, and speaking.
