**Alliance Building Services** is a leading and dynamic provider of premier facilities-related services to landmark stadiums, arenas and commercial properties in the New York metropolitan area.

**Job Skills / Requirements**

The ideal candidate will possess 1 to 2 years of experience in dealing with high volume payrolls in a union environment. In addition to being well organized, you must have a keen sense of detail, ability to handle and meet tight deadlines. Advanced knowledge using third party payroll provider software is a must. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is also required.

**Responsibilities:**

* Payroll and timekeeping entry for union labor on a weekly basis;

* Performs daily payroll functions. Manages workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely;

* Reviews and verifies employee timekeeping data via electronic time clock and/or spreadsheets and working schedules;

* Interact with Operations staff and Scheduling Manager on a daily basis to verify overtime hours, absences, etc.;

* Prepares and processes payroll change notices relative to changes of wage rate, primary job site, or position change;

* Primary point of contact for employee payroll questions and discrepancy resolution;

* Researches and resolves questions from managers and employees as they relate to the processing of payroll information such as vacation time and PTO; payroll discrepancies, punch reports.

* Prepares adjustment paperwork as necessary;

**Requirements:**

* One to Two (1-2) years proven experience with high volume payroll processing;

* Ability to prioritize tasks ensuring all payroll deadlines are met;

* Computer proficiency with Excel and MS Office

* Knowledge of third party payroll software (ADP, PayPro, PayChex, etc.);

* Ability to communicate effectively to other departments to resolve payroll issues before they arise.
