Position Overview:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our practice. As a key member of our clinical team, you will work closely with our providers to deliver high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, empathetic, excellent communicator, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare provider(s) with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and organized
• Take patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately
• Is willing to be trained to perform allergy skin tests, pulmonary function tests, and other diagnostic procedures as directed
• Is willing to be trained to administer allergy injections and educate patients on proper injection techniques
• Provide patient education on allergy management, medication administration, and treatment plans
• Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and ensure patient information is up-to-date
• Handle patient inquiries, medication refills, and prescription requests efficiently
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care coordination
• Willing to be cross-trained for other clinical roles

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred
• Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology, EMR systems, and basic computer skills is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
• Knowledge of allergy testing and immunotherapy protocols is a plus
• Have reliable transportation
