Medical Assistant/Scribe needed for The Fatigue Center in Edmond.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient-provider encounters in electronic health records including past medical history, current medical issues, physical exams, treatment plans, deposition instructions and re-checks.
• The Medical Scribe would work directly with providers and be responsible for managing patient charts including data entry.
• Help electronically prescribe medication for patients
• Responsibilities can include rooming and interviewing patients, assisting with clinic flow, lab and radiology results calls to patients, administering injections, triage and other duties as assigned.
• Medical Assistant/Scribe must be professional, dependable, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and able to work independently and in a fast-paced and professional environment.
Full Time position working Monday-Friday, no major weekends or holidays.

• EHR (Allscripts) experience preferred but not required
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Medical Scribe experience preferred
• High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
