HUMAN RESOURCES-Payroll Administrator

Allen Tharp LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our organization in the Human Resources Department with over 800 employees.

Must have experience with payroll, time & attendance; correcting miss punches/clock in/out times, generating daily reports, monitoring employees attendance, creating new hire profile, changing an employee’s position code (preferred in Nova Time/Ascentis). Must have experience in processing payroll; manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely, accurately, and compliantly, working knowledge of payroll best practices. Record payroll data in our software system (ADP) and verify all amounts prior to submitting payroll, initiate direct deposits, update employee tax status as needed, benefits enrollment, update employees position codes, and special projects. This position includes but not limited to: high volume inbound calls, customer service and filing. Will assist on the following (when necessary) in recruitment area; hiring, posting advertisements for open positions, screening resumes and applications, setting up interview appointments, and conducting new employee orientation and handling Medical Leave.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bilingual is a plus!
Multi-tasking ability with particular attention to detail and accuracy
Professional demeanor and positive attitude especially under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills, including a respect for confidentiality
Computer knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook
General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer, scanner.
Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds, push/pull
Adheres to company Standards of Business Conduct.

Pays $22.08 per hour PLUS! Fringe Benefits up to 4.98 per hour (will be explained during the interview)
