Responsible for profitability in both the new and used vehicle departments and customer retention. Compensation expectation is $102,000.00 .

Effectively manage sales managers and product specialists, have a strong knowledge of the Kansas automotive sales markets, and have an in-depth understanding of all sales departments' financial data as well as strong customer relations skills.

Responsibilities:

• Creating the monthly dealership sales forecast
• Meeting with the sales team daily to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.
• Working with each manager and salesperson to enhance specific goals and objectives
• Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising both new and used vehicles as well as reviewing and approving all promotions.
• Coordinating the appropriate supply of new and used vehicle and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly.
• Meet with Senior Management to review sales forecasts and profits for sales departments.
• Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Auditing of all appraisals of trade in vehicles
• Play an active role in the community

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Dealer Management.
• Comfortable managing multiple departments and people.
• Maintaining the profitability of their departments while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Understanding and keeping abreast of the federal, state and local regulations that affect their operations, must also comply with these regulations.
• Demonstrate strong communications skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors, as they represent the dealership.
• Responsible, ethical, committed and able to work the extended evenings, weekends to achieve their goals.
• Background check and clean driving record.
• Dealertrack DMS experience, a plus.
• NADA Dealer Academy graduate preferred, but not required.
