The Field Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Technicians on their respective teams. He/she will provide leadership and be responsible for ensuring that the Technicians are prepared and capable of fulfilling All Turf’s commitments to its customers. A successful FM will lead by example with a hands-on approach and share the company vision with employees while holding direct reports accountable to their responsibilities. A FM is a vital part of the company structure as he/she is entrusted to help ensure branch success.
Responsibilities and Duties
●Ensure that technicians are prepared accordingly every day with the correct products and product amounts along with lawn posting signs and PPE
●Daily inspection of Product Usage at Checkout. If product amount is off more than our standard deviation a spray/spread calibration should take place as well as a recording for the next day at checkout to see improvement
●Are prepared to handle basic daily mechanical repairs of spreader and sprayer equipment to keep technicians operational
●Responsible for daily attendance-taking / disciplinary write ups for your team
●Will take part in the hiring and firing process of all employees on your team as well as formal reviews
●Will be responsible to work with Branch Manager on your Technician's production goals and ensuring work is being completed

●Responsible for ensuring communication with Technicians concerning their individual performance as well as the team's, and company's.
●Ensure that technicians are equipped, both in knowledge and ability, to accomplish assigned tasks each day including products, equipment/repairs, technique, and regulatory compliance
●Continue to develop technicians to become better at their jobs as well as challenge and strengthen them to help them grow within the company
●Communicate expectations consistently and lead by example
●Weekly, visit Technicians and their work in the field to ensure that the All Turf Way is being done in cooperation with the BM’s discretion and the BQM's input
●Keeping new hire training focused and on track.
●Ensure that the proper amount of product is being used day by day and that information is being properly recorded by technicians
●Ensure that PPE is being used and that facility and fleet is safe and clean
●Lead in communication, attitude, culture, and safety as an example for technicians
Qualifications
●Cat 24 pesticide license within the set timeframe
●1 year industry experience minimum
●Consistent exemplary performance, attitude, and attendance
●Ability and desire to train others
●Good verbal and written communication skills
●Willingness to discipline subordinates
●Leadership skills
●Physical ability to perform the same work as a technician
