Responsibilities/Qualifications
Alger Heights Senior Living Community in Grand Rapids is looking for our next Cook. By becoming a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the well-being of our beloved seniors. Your culinary skills will be an invaluable asset in enhancing their overall living experience at Alger Heights. At Alger Heights, we understand the importance of maintaining a balanced home/work life, and with this position, you will no longer have to worry about cooking late nights.
The shift times will be 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm. Every other weekend is required.
Duties:
- Prep and prepare meals for residents using standardized recipes
- Cooking entire meals in larger quantities (20 meals)
- Assist in clean up
- Able to create healthy, good tasting recipes
