Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner
- Assist with meal planning, including accommodating special dietary needs or restrictions
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Follow proper food handling procedures, including storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food handling or a related role is preferred
- Knowledge of dietary guidelines and restrictions is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
