PURPOSE:The Associate Attorney is responsible for reviewing foreclosure related legal motions, in addition to attending foreclosure settlement conferences for the Firm. This person will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the process on the behalf of our Clients. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Review Foreclosure Related Motions such as Foreclosure Complaints, Orders of Reference and JudgmentsAttend Hearing and Mediation AppearancesPrepare Analysis of cases and advise Clients regarding legal strategiesDraft Court Pleadings, Status Letters, Denial Letters and Written RequestsMust collaborate with Supervising Foreclosure Attorney, Business Unit and Per Diem Appearance CounselProvide Legal Directives for Clients on the behalf of the FirmDirectly Manage Escalated Cases including the management of Client SystemsCoordinate Bank Rep and Client AppearancesMust be willing to Travel on an as needed basisJOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Member of the New York Bar while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements. GENERAL COMPETENCY FACTORS:Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
