About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and highly responsive professional to join our dynamic team as a Client Services Manager for our Private Wealth division. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented problem solvers who are exceptional at building rapport internally and externally to support and promote a positive client experience. This position is integral to our high net worth clients’ relationship with the firm.

You’ll Get a Chance To

  • Manage the Private Wealth Client Services Team with responsibility for training, coaching, and professional development.
  • Oversee the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all aspects of the Client Services team’s work.
  • Work directly with Partners, Management, and Advisors on outside-the-box client and firm-related requests.
  • Liaise with custodial service teams, vendors, and any other third parties.
  • Resolve escalated client issues swiftly and positively.
  • Utilize your deep level of industry knowledge to provide leadership to the team in resolving service-related matters.
  • Evaluate and improve Client Services process and training, including maintenance, development, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and the Client Services Manual.
  • Review and resolve Private Wealth accounts receivable issues.
  • Participate in software conversions and new software implementations, if applicable
  • Maintain and update software related to the high net worth business line in partnership with the IT Business Solutions Analyst.
  • Provide training to Aldrich staff members on Wealth-specific software to support processes, efficiencies, and protocols.

Skills for Success

  • Capable of advanced, multi-level data queries in portfolio management software and CRM.
  • Proficient in non-standard client requests and complex account troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of complex client account setups – such as PALs, Margin, SMAs and Third-party Trustees – both at the custodian and within the portfolio management software.
  • Extensive experience with a variety of custodians.
  • Extensive experience with a variety of investment vehicles and products, including Alternative Investments.
  • Extensive, demonstrable experience in creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & oral) and a professional persona with clients and team.
  • Project management expertise.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or applicable years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Minimum three years of experience supervising others.
  • Extensive experience with portfolio management software(s), contact management software(s), and strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.

What You Should Know

This is a full-time position. Candidates will be in the Portland, OR area and oversee team members in multiple locations outside of Portland. Hybrid workplace options are available.
