Customer Service Agent at Alaska Air Transit

Alaska Air Transit is small, family owned air-taxi with six aircraft and over just over 30 employees. We are hiring a Customer Service Agents for our Merrill Field, Anchorage, location.

We are looking for a hard working team-player to be a key member of our organization. This position serves as the public face of our company;

if you are welcoming, patient, self-motivated, and detail- oriented, we would like to hear from you. Experience with computers, including word processing and email, is essential for this role.

What you’ll do :

• Serve as the main point of contact with our customers, both in person and via phone or email.
• Greet and assist customers, and respond to a variety of customer questions and requests.
• Learn and Use our reservation system to schedule passengers and process payments.
• Manage the passenger check-in process, including preparation of baggage and freight for travel.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance, perform light custodial and housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate complex concepts to customers regarding flight status, pricing, schedules, and weather issues.

Position Details

Salary : Starting at $17.00 - $22.00 / hour.

Position is : Part-time, Weekends required.
