Position Announcement
To ensure that the school system properly determines personnel needs, satisfies human resource needs, and maintains and improves all services related to the employees of Anniston City Schools.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, educational leadership or closely related field required (MS preferred); Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources (k-12 school administration preferred); Relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM) preferred; Working knowledge of personnel matters and disciplinary procedures; Great public relations skills and superior leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal acumen; Ability to work independently, demonstrate flexibility, manage multiple projects and prioritize simultaneously; Proficiency in oral, written, and electronic communications with the ability to produce, lead, and deliver presentations to various stakeholders; Ability to identify and solve
problems as a productive team member; Advanced MS Suite skills and ability to use technology to plan, communicate, manage data, compile reports or submit personnel information; Physical strength, stamina, dexterity, and acuity to perform essential job functions and responsibilities; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require.

Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity are required to perform job responsibilities.
EVALUATION:
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with evaluation procedures and Board policy.
