Engagement Description:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst III to join our team in Detroit, MI, to plan, develop, test, and implement IT system solutions that enhance business efficiency, support strategic goals, and improve productivity. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and communicating business needs, translating them into technical system and functional specifications, and supporting highly complex or critical business processes/systems.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, test, and implement IT system solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity.
• Identify and communicate business needs, translating them into technical system and functional specifications.
• Support highly complex or critical business processes/systems, requiring the design or integration of technical solutions across multiple business functions.
• Act as a project team member for large-scale, high-complexity projects, potentially enterprise-wide.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Five (5) years of relevant system solution development, testing, and implementation work experience required.
• Security and information technology experience of 10 years.
• Security audit experience of 5 years OR security risk management experience.
• Experience with IT risk identification, tracking, monitoring, and risk evidence review and closure.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to write Macros.
• Technical knowledge and expertise in operating systems, databases, networks, firewalls, and identity access.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Technical IT experience in network security and cloud.
• SOC audit experience.
• Experience with ISO27001, MFA, security operations, and threat hunting.

Education/Certifications:

• Knowledge and experience with HIPAA/HITRUST/NIST frameworks.
• Security certifications such as CISA, CRISK, CISSP.
• Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of OWASP.
